However, the real question you should be asking yourself is, “How well is my real estate agent going to perform the tasks required to get my house sold?”
True story, I recently had a 90-year-old client who wanted to sell his home and move into an assisted living residence. His property had already been on the market for months with another real estate agent, but the house did not sell and the listing expired. When I asked him what happened, he told me that his real estate agent, after listing his home for sale, never called him ever again. He never heard from her again after that day.
That may be an extreme example, but to successfully list and sell houses, there are a lot of professional and administrative skills that a real estate agent must know how to do well in order to stay on top of everything that’s happening in each real estate sale.
Being a great real estate agent requires high levels of organization.
Before becoming a real estate agent I worked for several years in the materials and process lab of a United States defense contractor. At that job I was responsible for a variety of projects that were happening simultaneously, all of which required me to learn how to become extremely organized in order to keep up with everything that was happening.
Now, as a full-time real estate agent in Jackson Township, Ohio, I can bring those skills to bear in helping you meet your goals for selling your home. Whether those goals are to maximize the amount of money you get from the sale, or to sell within a specific time frame, or any other goal that you may have related to the sale of your Jackson Township home, I have the organizational skills to remain on top of every step of the sales process.
I live in Jackson Township (near the Dunkin’ Donuts on Wales).
I do not work on a team, so you are not going to be handed off to someone else after signing the listing documents.
I like to build friendships with my clients so that you can call me with any question you may have about your home sale and, as long as it’s between 7:30am and 5:00pm, you can reasonably expect me to answer your phone call (assuming I’m not with another client). After 5:00pm I’ll be having dinner with my family and spending time with my children, so I won’t answer your call then, but will get back to you the following morning, or perhaps before then if I have a free moment.
